JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF REALTORS  Instructions and Application for Continuing Education Scholarships
	A membership benefit of the Jefferson County Board of Realtors (JCBR) is the Continuing Education Scholarship.  The JCBR will award two $300 scholarships for continuing education during the 2007 calendar year.  Excluded from scholarship is the 12 hours of continuing education (CE) courses. If you are interested in receiving a scholarship from the JCBR, please read the eligibility criteria below and complete the attached application.  Deadline for all applications is December 1, 2006. Eligibility Criteria 1.       Recipient must be a current member and in good standing with the JCBR. 2.       Recipient must have been a member of the JCBR for at least one year prior to application. 3.       Scholarship must be used to continue recipient’s knowledge in the real estate industry,     i.e., ABR, GRI, CRS, elective course, or any other approved course. 4.       Scholarship will be paid upon receipt and passing score of the approved exam/class. 5.       Scholarship cannot be used for classes attended in the past or currently     attending. 6.       Scholarship must be used by December 31, 2007. 7.       Scholarship is non-transferable.        Awards of scholarships will be selected by the Scholarship Committee by December 15, 2006. Successful applicants will be notified by mail.
